ICAN of Saskatoon, the local chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network, is a support group for women who have had a cesarean, women ho wish to avoid a cesarean and women desiring a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). We have monthly meetings where we discuss topics about cesarean prevention, recovery or VBAC. Meetings are a safe place to share your cesarean stories and feelings about them. We also have classes and other events throughout the year to raise awareness about cesareans and the impact they have on maternal and infant health. Women are also invited to contact chapter leader, Nicole Eramian, with any questions or concerns they may have about their c-section.
