Fine Silver Design [closed]
When I met Melissa, she was with her two adorable children. Right away I noticed how she spoke with passion and care about her hand made jewellery. She is a very talented mom that can make any custom pure silver jewelry at very reasonable prices.
She met with me and created a one of a kind custom pendent for me with the birth stones and names of my girls. It hasn’t left my neck since I received it in the mail. My middle child loves to touch it when it’s reading time and points out her name to me. She thinks it’s pretty special her name is on my jewellery and so do I.
Melissa created my pendent amazingly fast and in my mail package it comes with a little jewellery cloth to help shine it up. Mine pendant is truly a item I treasure and I hope one of you get to win one of your own!!

Why inspired you to start your business?
I have always loved making jewellery since I was in grade 5 when I started working with Indian seed beads. I love working with metals and wanted to begin a a while ago but didn’t know how to go about it. In May 2013, I began making pure silver (also know as fine silver) jewelry. I prefer custom and personalized jewellery and try to stick to just that.
What makes your product unique/different?
All of my jewellery designs are custom. I personalize everything so any name can be on the jewellery. I do fingerprints, actual signatures and children’s artwork jewellery. I make every piece by hand. There is no mass production of any kind. I shape them, stamp them and fire them in the kin.
What has been the most exciting day since starting your company?
The birth of my second son July 30th, 2013
If you could have one super-hero power, what would it be?
It would be the power to heal.
What companies or products inspire you?
Jewelry … but to be honest I get ideas all over the place. Moves… life in general.
What is your best parent tip?
Don’t sweat the small stuff but be consistent! My oldest who just turned 2 is really testing me these days. I have to be consistent with him and not give in when I tell him something he doesn’t want to hear.
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned as a workig mom {so far}?
To enjoy my kids as much as possible.
