Saskatoon Mommy Connections [closed]

Mommy Connections (www.mommyconnections.ca) is THE post natal program for today’s new parents. It provides the opportunity to meet and connect with other parents going through the same experiences, in a supportive, fun, educational environment.

Roberta ‘Bob’ Cain, single mom to 3 year old Daisy, is thrilled to be bringing the program to Saskatoon. ‘I was fortunate enough to participate in one of the last Parent talk programs organised through the Health Region, before they were cut’ she says. ‘I was devastated for all the moms and babies that were going to miss out on the valuable support and friendships I got from the program. So I hope Mommy Connections Saskatoon will go some way to filling that gap.’

The program consists of 8 x 1.5hour sessions, which will feature 2 interactive demonstrations or presentations each week, plus time to get to know the other parents. The presentations will be made by local experts on a variety of topics from car seat safety, to infant massage, to oral health and much, much more. There will also be opportunities to try taster sessions of various mom and baby activities including; kindermusik, mom and baby yoga, mom and baby pilates and music programs.

The first program in Saskatoon kicks off on Friday 29th April, in the auditorium of Cliff Wright Library (Lakewood Civic Centre) from 10.30am-12pm.
