Kirtin of Cattura Imagery has a wonderful view through her lense.

When reviewing her photos, I lost track of time as I enjoyed looking through all her amazing photos, especially the wedding and newborn shots!

The Inspiration

I have always loved photography and started loving photos at a very young age, my first camera was from a happy meal!
But I wanted to move to a professional level when I started thinking about having a family one day, I want to be able to stay home with my children while working.

What makes your product unique/different?

I love using the environment to influence the photo and capture the details of the day. I truly enjoy becoming friends with my clients, it helps them relax and be themselves infront of my camera. When capturing newborn I try to let my unique style stand out, as well as noticing the tiny details.

What keeps you motivated?

new ideas, new clients and always learning.

If you could have one super-hero power, what would it be?

hmmm I always wished I could wiggle my nose like in the show “Bewitched” and poof my house could be clean and organized. or teleporting that would be a huge time saver :).

What is the most rewarding thing about running your own business?

Being my own boss, working for myself. Knowing at the end of the day my business is being represented by the best person to represent it…me! When I have children I feel it will be the ability to make my own schedule and work around our families needs.

Where do you see your business in 5 years?

I would love to be a house name for family photos and newborn photography. I’d love to be a signature brand for Wedding Photography.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned as a working mom {so far}?

I am not a mom yet, but I am excited to someday be one :). I get my baby fix when I photograph all the beautiful newborns.
